Spencer, Barkley, Jon & Another 13.1

We took an afternoon rest and watched the Masters (Spencer's smiles came after he lamented the end of Tiger's rally).

Last weekend I ran a half marathon with a few girlfriends. While it was a fun day we ran eleven of the thirteen miles into the freezing wind...thankfully Spencer and Jon were waiting here at the end.
What an amazing toddler we have on our hands. Our little boy has more energy and creativity than we know what to do with! Spencer's new favorite pastime is walking around the house with three items - usually a combination of unrelated household appliances, toys and anything else the little monster can get his hands on! Each week or two he has a favorite item (obsession)...a few weeks ago it was keys and the past two weeks pen became his main focus. You can see from the first few pictures the blackberry remains on his top five list. We even bought Spencer a new table and chairs to channel his pen fetish but he prefers to walk around the house with his pens. We get a kick out of the trifecta of randomness. This weekend's activity included a little more Spencer-proofing to minimize the risk of pens all over our recently painted house.
