Spencer's first pinata - made a little less exciting when I realized that store bought pinatasdo not come filled with candy. Sorry, kids.
Happy 2nd birthday, Spencer and Kaia
Spencer shared his second birthday party with his good friend and neighbor Kaia who he met when he was about a week old. It was fun to watch all the kiddos run around together. Spencer seems to still enjoy walking around with several random objects and he has a particular affinity toward Kaia's bouncy ball.

Love the broom! And glad to see he's already got a thing for cheerleaders. She's a cutie!
Don't worry about not putting candy in the pinata -- Spencer won't remember it for long (and I'm sure he loved hitting it anyway). The grown-ups are the ones who will never let you forget that one! :)
Oh Spencer- you are such a big boy in your cute birthday outfit!! I sure wish I could have been there to share in the fun.
